Orange Marmalade with Rye Whiskey
Orange Marmalade with Rye Whiskey
From Florida to the Carolina Lowcountry, Seville oranges grow wild. In the local vernacular they are called sour or bitter oranges and are made into pies, orangeade, jelly or marmalade, and the famous Moja Criolla marinade. We make them into a classic British-style marmalade with just a splash of American rye whiskey and a touch of spice. You can't beat it on an English muffin with good butter and a cup of hot tea.
Ingredients: blueberries, rhubarb, sugar, lemon juice, salt.
