Hyderabadi (Hot) Tomato Chutney
This Indian-style tomato chutney is chocked full of spices and flavor. No matter how many people are at the table when you open a jar, they always seem to eat it all. We love it with roasted potatoes, fried fish, roasted chicken, okra fritters, Hopping John or other beans & rice dishes, or with fried cheese like haloumi or paneer, and flatbread. It's definitely spicy, but pleasantly so. Chef's favorite!
Ingredients: tomatoes, sugar, lime and lemon juice, tomato paste, fresh ginger, garlic, cumin seed, mustard seed, grape seed oil, salt, fenugreek, hot chilis, curry leaf, asafoetida, and other spices.
